Software Engineer
We are currently seeking a Front-End Developer to join a Glasgow-based technology business delivering large-scale, user-facing digital platforms. This is an opportunity to join a well-established yet evolving product environment, working on systems used at real scale and relied on daily by a wide user base.
The organisation is product-led and engineering-driven, with a strong focus on building modern web applications. You'll work as part of a collaborative Agile team alongside backend engineers, testers and product managers, contributing to both new feature development and the ongoing improvement of existing platforms.
You will have solid experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, and a good grounding in frontend fundamentals. Full Stack experience would be beneficial, but the role is open to developers who don't tick every box.
This is a hybrid role, with flexibility around on-site requirements in Glasgow City, and openness to candidates based further afield within Scotland.
About You:
- React and TypeScript experience
- Bonus with experience working with APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and frontend best practice
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern deployment approaches
