The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic New Business Sales Executive to join the growing team and drive revenue growth across core industry verticals. This is an exceptional opportunity to sell market-leading enterprise ERP solutions backed by proven success stories and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target new prospects across the manufacturing & distribution sectors
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations showcasing Sage X3's industry-specific capabilities

Solution Selling:

  • Present enterprise ERP solutions tailored to specific industry challenges, leveraging our extensive case study portfolio
  • Demonstrate ROI through real customer success stories (A manufacturing client, who achieved a reduction of 4 days per month spent on reporting)
  • Work closely with our technical consultants to develop compelling proposals
  • Navigate complex B2B sales cycles from initial contact through contract signature

Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers
  • Represent company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasting
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop targeted campaigns
Industries You'll Serve

Manufacturing: Help discrete and process manufacturers gain streamlined decision-making and quick ROI through real-time visibility and control.

Distribution: Enable distributors to gain real-time visibility of inventory across multiple sites and locations with fully integrated sales, stock, purchasing and finance.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B software sales, ERP, or business systems
  • Experience selling to manufacturing, distribution
  • Strong consultative selling skills with ability to understand complex business processes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution sectors
  • Understanding of business processes such as inventory management, production planning, or quality control
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive package designed to attract and retain top talent:

  • Base Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
  • OTE: £85,000 - £95,000 (uncapped commission structure)
  • Car Allowance: £5,000 per annum

Location & Travel
