What you’ll be doing
As a Freelance Product Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, effective and memorable training programmes for external clients. Your work will be essential in:
- Driving product adoption and customer confidence
- Improving user proficiency and self-sufficiency
- Ensuring a consistent understanding of product features, updates and best practices
- Creating a positive and professional learning experience that reflects our brand
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering live virtual training sessions, workshops and webinars
- Tailoring content to suit different audiences, levels of technical ability and use cases
- Keeping stakeholders engaged, energised and involved throughout sessions
- Responding confidently to questions and adapting delivery in real time
- Supporting ongoing enablement through documentation, recordings or follow-up materials
- Collaborating with internal product and customer teams where needed
Experience we’re looking for
- Previous experience delivering product or technical training, ideally within a technology environment
- Familiarity with SaaS products or enterprise software (highly desirable)
- Experience training external customers or clients rather than internal-only audiences
- Comfort facilitating virtual learning for individuals and groups

- Excellent presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- A confident, engaging and approachable style — you’re comfortable being “on screen”
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, simple language for non-technical audiences
- Adaptable, organised and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with training and delivery tools (LMS, Zoom, MS Teams)
