Technology Project Manager
Location: Reading | Hybrid
We’re partnering with a major global retailer undergoing significant digital and technology transformation to hire an experienced Technology Project Manager.
You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a major customer technology programme, focused on new CRM, customer data and customer engagement capabilities.
Working across Technology, Digital, Business teams and external partners, you’ll be responsible for ensuring complex projects are delivered against agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end delivery across requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment and hypercare
- Manage large-scale project budgets
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, resources and dependencies
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and delivery challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams across Technology, Digital and the wider business
- Manage external vendors and suppliers within a complex multi-partner environment
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to maintain strategic alignment
- Track delivery progress, budgets, KPIs and benefits realisation
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in Technology Project Management
- Strong experience delivering CRM, customer data or customer engagement technology
- Proven end-to-end delivery experience across complex technology programmes
- Experience managing significant project budgets
- Strong supplier and vendor management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence at senior level
- Experience working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
- Comfortable bringing structure and direction to complex and evolving programmes
