Product Manager
Role: Product Manager – Growth & Connectivity
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 + 15% bonus + benefits
Industry: Consumer Technology
Location: London (Hybrid, 1–2 days per week)
The Problem
A well-established UK consumer brand has more than 50,000 self-employed partners across the country, ready and waiting to sell. Customers are actively looking for them. But too often, the connection between the two falls into a black hole.
A lead lands. A partner doesn't follow up. An opportunity disappears. That's the problem this role exists to fix, permanently.
The Role
You'll be the architect and gatekeeper of the lead ecosystem, owning the logic that determines how every lead moves from a click to a conversation. That means building the scoring models, automation and distribution logic that makes sure the right lead gets to the right partner at exactly the right moment, every time.
There's already an initiative gaining real traction. Small business owners and community connectors are already passing leads into the network. It's working. But it's held together with spreadsheets and manual effort. You'll take it from promising experiment to scalable product.
This is not a backlog management role. It's a build-the-engine-from-the-ground-up role.
Day to day you'll be:
→ Designing intelligent lead scoring models so partners spend their energy on the highest-propensity opportunities
→ Piloting and scaling new channels that bring quality leads into the network
→ Digitising manual processes and building logic for smarter, fairer lead distribution
→ Getting out in the field, talking directly to partners to understand what actually happens when a lead lands, and what gets in the way
→ Owning KPIs and OKRs for your squad and presenting clear rationale to leadership
What makes someone right for this
You've worked in environments where connecting supply with demand was messy, human and high-stakes, and you've built systems that made it less messy without losing the human bit.
You'll be a natural fit if you:
→ Have hands-on experience in lead generation, growth, affiliate or marketplace environments
→ Are comfortable designing scoring logic and working with product analytics tools like Mixpanel or GA
→ Can start with a spreadsheet and a willing test group, and know when it's time to stop iterating and start scaling
→ Have worked across more than one industry and bring genuinely fresh thinking as a result
→ Get energised by commercial outcomes, not process for its own sake
You'll be working closely with a network of self-employed partners who are passionate about what they do and have strong views about what they need. The ability to listen, earn trust on the ground and translate that into smart product decisions is just as important as the technical toolkit.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, let's talk.
