Senior Product Manager – Subscription Acquisition & Growth | Major Media Group | £85k–£95k + 15% bonus | London - Hybrid

I'm working with a major media group on a confidential search for a Senior Product Manager to own subscription acquisition and growth. They launched subscriptions 14 months ago, hit ~300k subscribers, and are scaling to 1 million by 2028. This role drives that acceleration.

The Role

You'll own the subscription acquisition strategy – turning millions of visitors into paying subscribers through paywall optimisation, pricing strategy, and funnel conversion.

You'll be responsible for:

• Paywall strategy – metered, dynamic, and tiered models that balance access with conversion
• Acquisition funnel optimisation – experimenting and iterating from first visit to paid subscriber
• Dynamic pricing – configurable by region, segment, and behaviour
• Value proposition – building a compelling gated experience
• Partnerships – distribution deals and integrations to expand subscriber base
• Near-term roadmap: dynamic paywall, regional config, and pricing capabilities

You'll partner with a CRO team (3 people), ~8 developers, product marketing, editorial, and data. Fast-paced, pragmatic leadership that ships quickly.

What They're Looking For

Someone who's built and scaled subscription products in media, streaming, or consumer digital. You've launched paywalls, run experiments, optimised funnels, and know what drives conversion and retention.

Experience with:

• Paywall strategies (metered, dynamic, tiered)
• Product-led growth and acquisition funnel optimisation
• High-velocity A/B testing and data-driven decisions
• Partnerships to grow user base (bundling, distribution, integrations)
• Cross-functional work with CRO, data, marketing, editorial
