Senior Product Manager – MarTech

📍 London (Hybrid, 1–2 days per week)

💰 £85,000 – £100,000 + up to 15% bonus + great benefits

📄 Permanent OR 6 month contract option £400-£475 p/day Outside IR35

I’m partnered with a well-established, customer-focused organisation undergoing a major digital and product transformation. They operate across multiple consumer service categories and are investing heavily in improving how they engage and communicate with their customers.

The business has a complex, MarTech and communications ecosystem spanning CRM, email, SMS, in-app, and direct mail. They need someone to rationalise the tech, reduce complexity, unlock self-serve for internal marketing teams, and move toward a unified, automated communications strategy. This is a high-visibility role sitting within the Customer Experience pillar, with genuine scope to make a lasting commercial impact.

The Role

You'll take full ownership of the customer communications tech stack, auditing what exists, identifying what needs to go, and building a roadmap toward a leaner, smarter, more automated ecosystem. A key early win will be enabling in-app notifications to drive the right customer behaviours, so someone who can hit the ground running on that will stand out.

This role suits someone who has been here before, you've inherited a messy MarTech stack, made sense of it, and left it in a significantly better place.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the evolution of a complex communications and Martech ecosystem
  • Simplifying integrations across a multi-layered API landscape
  • Driving cost efficiency and performance improvements across channels
  • Enabling self-serve campaign capabilities for marketing teams
  • Defining and delivering a more unified, cross-channel communications strategy
  • Implementing more intelligent, automated customer engagement journeys
  • Identifying quick wins to improve engagement, particularly within digital channels
  • Working closely with Data Science to move toward more intelligent, triggered customer journeys

What They’re Looking For

  • A Senior PM who has experience owning and evolving marketing technology or customer engagement platform in a B2C environment - ideally subscription or multi-service business
  • Someone who has navigated and simplified a complex, over-engineered communications ecosystem before
  • A hands-on operator who can come in, assess quickly, and start delivering
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to balance technical and commercial outcomes
  • Experience working closely with marketing and engineering teams in a product-led environment
  • Comfortable operating in cross-functional, agile teams
  • Experience in utilities, telco, or financial services is helpful but not required
