Role: Technical Lead (Shopify)

Location: Remote - UK Only

Salary: 60,000 70,000 - Plus benefits

Were looking for a Shopify Technical Lead to join a growing digital team working on high-impact eCommerce builds. Youll lead development across Shopify Plus projects, guide a talented team of developers, and help shape the technical direction for ambitious brands scaling online.

What youll be doing:

Leading technical delivery across Shopify builds and new feature development

Setting technical direction, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed

Work with product, design, and architecture to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions

Driving quality, documentation, and DevOps standards (CI/C, environment setup)

What youll bring:

3 years experience developing on Shopify / Shopify Plus

Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, JavaScript

Experience integrating APIs and third-party services

Understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser testing

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and modern theme build tools (Vite.js, Webpack)

A collaborative mindset and confidence to guide both technical and non-technical discussions
