Role: Frontend Developer

Location: Central London (3 days a week in the office)

We're looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join a creative, fast-paced digital team working across a range of projects for exciting clients. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, maintainable code and bringing digital experiences to life.

You'll work on custom-built WordPress themes and contribute to modern frontend development using frameworks such as React and Next.js. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing code reviews, and taking ownership of delivering clean, efficient, and scalable code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Build and enhance custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Lead development on key features, including Gutenberg blocks for high-profile clients
  • Manage and review pull requests to maintain code quality
  • Work closely with project managers to estimate time and assign sprint points
  • Support QA testing and deployments to production
  • Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility, accessibility, and performance

Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with Next.js and WordPress
  • Familiarity with modern testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright
  • Proficient with Tailwind, Bootstrap, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with SQL and general database interaction
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Comfortable collaborating within agile environments and working across multiple projects

This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and creative environment where your input will shape real-world digital products. The team works from the London office three days a week, with flexibility for remote collaboration on the remaining days.
