This is a key role focused on improving financial reporting, strengthening forecasting and project accounting, enhancing controls, and supporting a significant finance systems integration programme.

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide hands-on financial leadership within an innovative technology and project-based business. This is a key role focused on improving financial reporting, strengthening forecasting and project accounting, enhancing controls, and supporting a significant finance systems integration programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end reporting, management accounts and commercial financial analysis.
- Supporting finance systems implementation, integration and process improvement activities.
- Strengthening budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and scenario planning.
- Improving project accounting, profitability reporting, revenue recognition and WIP management.
- Reviewing and enhancing financial controls, compliance and data quality.
- Partnering with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong background in a technology, engineering, project-based or operational environment.
- Proven experience delivering finance system implementations, integrations or major process change programmes.
- Excellent management accounting, forecasting and project accounting expertise.
- Strong Excel and ERP systems knowledge, with Power BI experience advantageous.
- Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders and operate effectively at senior leadership level.
