Commercial Finance Manager Location: Braintree, EssexPure is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Foxway to appoint this newly created Head of Commercial Finance position — a key leadership role within a fast-growing, sustainability-driven global technology business.Foxway Group, backed by Nordic Capital following their 2023 acquisition, is on an ambitious journey to become Europe’s leading circular technology company. Through its Recommerce C&E division, Foxway is redefining how refurbished IT equipment is sourced, managed, and delivered, driving innovation and sustainability across the technology lifecycle.With an annual turnover of around £250m, Recommerce C&E is entering an exciting phase of expansion, combining organic growth with a strategic M&A agenda across Europe and beyond.The Opportunity As Head of Commercial Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operational performance of this dynamic business area. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you will drive insight, control, and value creation to support Foxway’s ambitious growth objectives.Key responsibilities include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across Recommerce C&E.
- Acting as a strategic business partner to commercial and operational teams, driving financial performance and efficiency.
- Supporting M&A projects — including financial modelling, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
- Develop and track KPIs (sales, margin, operational efficiency) relevant to the recommerce business model including sales and operational performance metrics. Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cash flow
- Deliver timely and accurate management reporting, including monthly business reviews, board materials, and ad hoc analysis for strategic projects
- Support organisation in business related projects
- Enhancing management reporting, BI tools (Power BI), and performance tracking to enable informed decision-making.
- Developing scalable FP&A frameworks and processes to support continued international growth.
- 7–10+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business control within fast-paced, international, or PE-backed environments.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability (Power BI, Excel).
- A track record of delivering insight that drives commercial outcomes and strategic direction.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading or developing teams, and collaborating across functions such as operations, M&A, and commercial.
