Graduate Software Support Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking technology business as a Graduate Customer Support Engineer. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customers get the very best from their products, becoming a trusted technical partner and making a real impact from day one.The Role As a Graduate Customer Support Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical questions, and provide guidance on the installation and use of cutting-edge products. You’ll collaborate with internal engineering and product teams, capturing feedback and contributing to the continuous improvement of the technology. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you’ll develop your technical expertise while building strong relationships with users across different industries.What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting customers with installation, configuration, and ongoing product queries
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, escalating complex cases where needed
  • Creating and updating knowledge base articles, guides, and resources
  • Delivering training sessions to help customers get the most from their systems
  • Acting as a key link between customers and internal engineering teams, sharing feedback to drive product enhancements
  • Working within agreed service levels to ensure a high-quality customer experience
About you:
  • Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline)
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (C#, .NET, Python, LabVIEWTM, VeriStandTM)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work well under pressure
Desirable skills:
  • Familiarity with Salesforce ServiceCloud or similar CRM tools
  • Knowledge of international standards for instrument control (PXI, LXI, VISA, IVI)
  • Practical experience with Test & Measurement instrumentation
