Web Developer - Front End Django

Front End Django Web Developer Salary: £50,000
Location: Chesterton Mill offices
Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in office
We are hiring a Front End Django Web Developer to join a growing, mission‐led technology company with a strong Tech4Good mindset. This is a growth hire, not a replacement, joining a small tech team to build high‐impact products.
The Role
You will work on the frontend of a Django application, collaborating closely with designers, UI and UX specialists, and feature managers to deliver clean, accessible, and well‐structured user interfaces.
This role suits someone who enjoys building robust frontends without unnecessary complexity and prefers clarity over hype.
Tech Stack

• Django with a frontend focus
• Vanilla JavaScript (not reliant on existing front end libraries)
• Bootstrap
• HTML and CSS

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience building frontend features using Django
• Strong vanilla JavaScript skills
• Confidence working from designs and collaborating with design teams
• Logical, thoughtful problem solver who enjoys reasoning challenges
• Comfortable being office based and working closely with others
• A genuine interest in Tech4Good and purpose‐driven work

Working Pattern

• Before probation: 4 to 5 days per week in the office
• After probation: 3 days per week in the office
