Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Hours: Monday - Thursday (8.30am - 5pm) Friday (8:30am - 2:00pm)

Salary: 14 - 14.50

Contract Type: Full time, Temp to Perm for right person

Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is seeking a Junior Applications Engineer

As Junior Applications Engineer your duties will include:

• Operating and maintaining laboratory and analytical equipment
• Preparing chemical solutions and assisting with laboratory testing procedures
• Testing, evaluating and processing coatings for a wide range of engineering applications
• Preparing documentation and recording results

An ideal candidate for the Junior Applications Engineer will have:

• A background in Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Design or a related field
• Knowledge of analytical laboratory equipment (advantageous but not essential)
• Practical skills such as basic tooling or paint spraying (desirable)
