Job description:
Role: Delivery Lead – Data Engineering (Lottery Reconciliation Platform)
- Lead end‐to‐end delivery of an Agile data engineering program focused on lottery transaction reconciliation and financial balancing.
- Own delivery governance, sprint execution, and release management across multiple data engineering teams.
- Provide strong delivery and technical leadership to Python‐based data engineers.
- Drive implementation of scalable, high‐volume data solutions for transaction processing and reconciliation.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, traceability, and audit readiness for regulated financial systems.
- Act as the primary interface for senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Manage delivery in a multi‐vendor ecosystem, ensuring alignment, accountability, and seamless integration.
- Proactively manage dependencies and handoffs across vendors, platforms, and teams.
- Translate complex business reconciliation rules into reliable data engineering solutions.
- Establish delivery metrics, quality KPIs, and continuous improvement practices.
- Own delivery risk management, escalations, and resolution across vendors and internal teams.
- Drive automation, monitoring, and observability across data pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and engineering standards.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a high‐performance delivery culture.
- Bring 15+ years of experience with a strong background in data engineering and large‐scale transactional systems.
