Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for end-users. The candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, and business applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory)
- Support network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Handle ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution of incidents
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and antivirus updates
- Assist in IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Provide support for email systems (Outlook, Office 365)
- Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and processes
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
- Experience with MS Office / Office 365
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory & user management
- Understanding of network basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers)
- Familiarity with remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.)
- Knowledge of ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
