Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Support Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network troubleshooting, monitoring, and support of LAN/WAN environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network performance and availability
- Troubleshoot network issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Configure and support routers, switches, and firewalls
- Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for network-related issues
- Work with network monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network implementation and upgrades
- Maintain network documentation and reports
- Ensure network security and compliance standards
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN
- Experience with routing and switching
- Hands-on experience with Cisco / Juniper devices
- Familiarity with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
- Understanding of OSI model and network protocols
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows environments
