Technical Consultant (Enterprise Risk Suite)
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with leading financial institutions on FIS Enterprise Risk Suite implementation projects with a focus on Market Risk and Credit Risk management
- Lead FIS Enterprise Risk Suite technical implementation including integration, EoD workflow, customization, hardware sizing/configuration, and performance tuning. Be the client’s trusted technical point of contact
- Conduct technical workshops, gather and specify technical requirements and produce technical specifications
- Configure and deploy components from the FIS Enterprise Risk suite and test end-to-end workflows are generating the expected results
- Develop and test client-specific customizations
- Collaborate with project manager and functional lead on implementation activities, delegate tasks to other project team members as appropriate, manage delivery quality and client expectation, identify and solve issues/problems, ensuring the successful implementation of software according to project plans
- Support the client testing the system, responding to questions, triaging issues, and advising clients on the best solutions to problems that arise
- Collaborate closely with other project team members, product management, development, external partners, senior management and other stakeholders to drive successful implementations of FIS Enterprise Risk Suite
- Maintain quality client relationships by communicating regularly and following up on commitments
- Support Sales/Pre-sales to formulate solution and implementation approach, and draft Statement of Work
Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Proven hands-on experience in the definition and implementation of software solutions in financial institutions (within a Software Development Life-Cycle), working with software/solution vendors, consultancies AND/OR as a DevOps (or developer) within financial institutions
- Expertise in one or more of .NET, C#, SQL/MDX, batch scripting (e.g., PowerShell, DOS), Kafka, Ansible, Redis , RabbitMQ , Delphi, and web application development (JSON)
- In depth knowledge of MS/SQL and/or Oracle
- Experience in OS (Windows, Linux), infrastructure and network setup and troubleshooting.
- Led multiple implementation projects
- Knowledge of financial services industry, in particular Market and Credit Risk management is a plus
- Demonstrate high levels of initiative and independence, comfortable working in teams or on your own
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team building, coaching, and mentoring experience
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent at communicating ideas both verbally and in writing
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
Qualifications
