Cyber Technician Apprentice

About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Technician Apprentice to join our growing security team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in cyber security, gaining hands-on experience across a range of Managed Human Risk services.
In this role, you will support the delivery of key GRC-led services that help organisations reduce risk through improved security awareness, governance, and data protection practices.
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of Phishing-as-a-Service campaigns, including simulation setup, reporting, and user engagement tracking
Assist with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), helping assess supplier risk and maintain risk registers
Contribute to Managed Data Loss Prevention (DLP) services, including policy monitoring and reporting
Work within structured processes to ensure activities align with governance and compliance requirements
Produce reports and insights to support customer risk reduction and decision-making
What we’re looking for:
SC (Security Check) clearance
Strong interest in cyber security, risk, and compliance
Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
Clear communication skills and willingness to engage with customers and stakeholders
Desire to learn within a fast-paced, professional environment
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Future prospects: Should you perform well in this role, there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company. Your future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
