About the role:

This role supports the Sales Enablement team in driving productivity and performance across our sales organisation. The successful candidate will explore the use of AI tools to enhance efficiency, analyse sales and training data to identify trends, and assist in writing clear, structured processes. They will contribute to the creation and maintenance of training documentation, support internal communications, and help coordinate enablement initiatives. The role offers hands-on experience with sales systems, reporting tools, and project workflows, while developing essential skills in continuous improvement, communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support AI exploration to identify tools that enhance sales productivity
  • Assist with data analysis to track performance and identify trends
  • Contribute to process documentation for enablement workflows and best practices
  • Help create and update training materials for sales onboarding and development
  • Coordinate enablement activities, including workshops and communications
  • Maintain internal documentation and shared resources for the team
  • Support reporting tasks, including dashboards and performance summaries
  • Engage with stakeholders across sales, training, and operations
  • Participate in team projects, offering admin and creative input
  • Develop core business skills, including time management and communication

Desirable skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic numeracy and analytical thinking
  • Interest in technology and AI tools
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment or on one’s own
  • Familiarity with productivity or collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience with data tools such as Excel formulas, Power BI or Google Sheets
  • Basic understanding of sales or commercial environments
  • Creative skills for designing training materials or presentations
  • Interest in process improvement or documentation
  • Curiosity about AI and automation in business contexts

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5.30pm
