Digital Contracts Apprentice

SPS are leaders in the provision of property services. We deliver high quality products and services to over 400 customers around the UK. We deal with councils, local authorities, FM companies, landlords, banks and estate agents and give them security, environmental services, doors, access control, and helpdesk services, 24/7.

Responsibilities:

  • First line support for receiving and logging jobs: Answer incoming calls and record job details.
  • Become a systems expert on Big Change and NetPlus: Ensure accurate scheduling and contractor allocation.
  • Liaise with contractors and clients: Communicate job requirements and updates via Outlook (email) and maintain clear records in Big Change.
  • Process invoices: Check, process, and reconcile contractor invoices in Excel, using Big Change to track costs and resolve invoice queries.
  • Update clients: Provide regular progress and status updates through Outlook and log all updates in NetPlus for client visibility.
  • Support Contracts Manager: Assist with monitoring job progress in Big Change and ensure works are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain records: Keep spreadsheets up to date in Excel and ensure all internal systems (Big Change, NetPlus, and shared drives) are accurate and current.
  • General Microsoft Office use: Create reports in Word, track data in Excel, prepare presentations in PowerPoint, and manage communications through Outlook.

  • Good attendance and timekeeping.
  • Ideally had some IT experience.

Salary: £15,704 per annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. No weekends!
