Overview:

We are looking to place a conscientious and enthusiastic Digital Support Apprentice to support our Business Support Team within our Scotland office. The successful candidate will support the Office Manager with daily office tasks to ensure the smooth running of our candidate set up and payroll processes. As a small office within the larger company this position may consist of various roles and tasks, giving an all-round experience of the Recruitment sector. Your role will be inclusive of training delivered by supportive members of your team and external apprenticeship training provider.  

Responsibilities:

  • First responder to incoming calls and acting as first point of contact for the office e-mail ticketing system. This will involve triaging phone calls and ticketed emails to the relevant account manager.
  • Become a superuser of RDB – our bespoke CRM system. This will involve logging and updating candidate and client information, making sure details are accurately inputted.
  • Being responsible for preparing and gathering timesheets for weekly payroll on RDB. Collaborating with Microsoft Excel to transfer the data accurately.
  • Communicate internally and externally using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Upload and maintain files via OneDrive to allow for cross collaboration on documents for the team.
  • Create and update candidate availability lists on Excel to assist the consultants and resourcers in obtaining manpower as needed.
  • Assisting with meeting arrangements, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking minutes.

  • IT skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Customer service skills: Providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Salary: £15,704 - £20,800 per annum (depending on age)

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.
