As a Digital Systems Support Apprentice, you will be part of our Lifecycle Services Delivery Operations team. This facility specialises in refurbishing and remarketing pre-owned IT assets, ensuring they are given a second life where possible, or ethically recycled when no longer viable. You will join a dynamic and adaptable test team, working across a wide range of technologies including industry-standard servers, third-party computing equipment, and networking solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise as a Blancco superuser, carrying out secure data erasure through manufacturing resets on IT assets to ensure complete removal of customer data prior to resale or recycling.
• Utilise Blancco diagnostic tools to identify, log, and report faults across a range of hardware including servers, desktops, and notebooks.
• Maintain accurate asset records using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Warehouse Management System, ensuring all data is captured and updated in line with operational standards.
• Conduct functional testing of IT assets (e.g., touchscreens, keyboards, and other components) to confirm operational readiness, escalating issues to the repair team where required.
• Coordinate with the Packing and Logistics Team to ensure all approved assets are prepared and dispatched for shipment in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as the Engineering and Reconciliation Teams, using tools including Microsoft Outlook and Teams to provide regular product and process updates.
• Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to clear communication around daily priorities, workflow progress, and order management.

Salary: £19,500 per annum.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm.
