About the role:

As part of this apprenticeship role you will take on responsibility for the configuration and fulfilment of Veracity’s storage/COLDSTORE customer orders, while contributing to a variety of engineering and product testing activities to ensure systems meet required standards.

Alongside gaining valuable hands-on technical experience, you will work towards achieving your SCQF Level 6 Diploma in Digital Applications Support, supporting your development into a skilled digital professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the configuration and fulfilment of digital storage solutions (Veracity COLDSTORE – Linux-based systems), developing practical knowledge of hardware and system setup in line with business requirements.
  • Assisting in the testing and verification of technology products, ensuring systems operate correctly and meet quality standards prior to deployment.
  • Providing first-line support by triaging internal and external technical queries, ensuring issues are prioritised, resolved, or escalated appropriately.
  • Producing and improving technical data reports and presentations using digital tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word, supporting business insights and documentation.
  • Collaborating with teams using Microsoft Teams and Outlook, maintaining effective communication and supporting day-to-day digital operations.
  • Become a system expert across enterprise systems (e.g. NetSuite and Linux environments) to manage processes, interpret data, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Salary: £18,200 per annum.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm .
