IT Support Apprentice

About the role:
CSL Data Services is looking for a motivated IT Support Apprentice to join their team. This role offers hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 IT Network Technician Apprenticeship You will support internal and external users, helping to diagnose issues, maintain systems, and contribute to a secure and efficient IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide IT support via phone, email, and remote tools
Log, manage, and update support tickets
Troubleshoot ICT issues using appropriate tools and methods
Communicate clearly with users, managing expectations and escalations
Install and configure hardware, software, and network devices
Support desktop setup, repair, and basic networking tasks
Apply security best practices and follow organisational policies
Assist with network device and mobile device administration
Maintain accurate documentation of all work
Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills
What we’re looking for:
Interest in IT support and networking
Basic knowledge of IT
Strong problem-solving skills
Good organisation and time management
Clear communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Professional, customer-focused attitude
Driving licence (essential) and own vehicle (desirable)
Entry requirements:
3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
Non-standard entry with work experience:
Relevant qualifications and/or work experience will be considered for applicants with potential to benefit from the programme.
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm
