IT Support Technician Apprentice

About the role:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme. You will work with public and private cloud services, large enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructures through to end user troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:

Provide first-line IT support to end users via phone, email and ticketing systems

Log, update and manage support tickets in line with agreed SLAs

Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues

Support users with password resets, account administration and access requests

Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers where required

Assist with device setup, configuration and deployment

Support Microsoft Windows desktop and laptop environments

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain regular communication with users

Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Participate in training and development activities as part of the Level 3 IT apprenticeship
We are looking for someone that has:

The ability to work individually and as part of a team, potentially covering extending working hours

Desire to learn new technologies, develop advanced networking skills and share them across the team

Strong desire and knowledge to work within an internet service provider industry and in a close-knit team
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Previous IT related work experience
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
-
3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
-
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
-
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5:30pm
