IT Support Technician Apprentice

Overview: We are looking to jumpstart our apprenticeship programme and are inviting interested individuals to join the company as our Support Technician Apprentice - Level 3. The apprentice will be trained to provide quality support to internal or external customers and troubleshoot system issues to keep your organisation running at all times.
With technology support, troubleshooting, and administration at its heart, a Cloud Bridge Digital Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship is anything but standard. As well as developing technical skills using a range of core technologies and platforms, apprentices learn to weave together the ability to diagnose problems, report issues, and communicate solutions to drive business technology forward.
Responsibilities: This apprenticeship has will help support our business maximise productivity across business functions through digital operations and digital change projects:
- Adopt an omni-channel approach to reduce time and costs within your business
- Build and adapt digital architecture that offers a seamless help-desk service to your employees, customers and clients
- Develop a solid foundational knowledge base that is applicable across higher level software apprenticeship progression pathways. Building the software skills within your business to an optimum
- Prioritise skills gaps in your digital support function to enable future development of specialist digital support technician's based on business need
Desired skills:
- Eager to learn
- Experience with Microsoft programs
- IT experience
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, 9am - 5pm

Future prospects: An apprentice’s journey doesn’t end when their apprenticeship has finished. This is just their first step to becoming an information communication professional. The next steps could be to progress to the Level 4 DevOps, Software Developer, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst apprenticeship programmes.
