About the role:

As an IT Technical Consultant Apprentice, you’ll work within an enterprise applications team supporting and enhancing digital platforms used by large organisations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in IT, digital platforms, and technology consulting while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, support, and maintain enterprise applications and digital workflow platforms
  • Assist with the development and testing of system enhancements, integrations, and automated processes
  • Investigate incidents, service requests, and system issues, supporting resolution and continuous improvement
  • Gather and analyse user and business requirements, translating them into technical solutions
  • Support system administration tasks including access management, monitoring, and platform health checks
  • Produce clear documentation such as user guides, process flows, and technical notes
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders to improve user experience and efficiency
  • Build core IT skills across platforms, automation tools, security awareness, and professional service delivery

Desirable skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Foundation knowledge of web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs) would be preferable
  • Interest in enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a client-focused environment

Salary: £18,000 per annum

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

If successful at the screening stage, candidates will be invited to one of our great assessment days taking place in March/April. Successful candidates will start their career with us in October 2026.

You must also be able to get to our office location when required (up to 5 days a week). You must be eligible to obtain a certain level of security clearance as we primarily work on secure defence accounts, therefore dual nationals or visa sponsorships are not accepted on our programme.
