About the role:

We are delighted to offer an opportunity within our quick fix support team, which is expanding due to internal promotions and our foray into new business domains.

The individual will be responsible for providing swift and effective solutions to customer inquiries and support issues, spanning a variety of industries and technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, Public Cloud environments (Microsoft Azure and AWS), Microsoft 365, on-premise servers, and networks. As an Ofcom-registered ISP, we also offer a spectrum of connectivity solutions, including broadband, leased lines, and VoIP services, to our clientele throughout the UK.

  • Network infrastructure development: We've laid the groundwork for new leisure developments, ensuring seamless connectivity and state-of-the-art facilities
  • Microsoft Dynamics implementations: Our expertise in deploying comprehensive business solutions has transformed the way companies operate and interact with their customers
  • Pioneering work with Microsoft Fabric: We're at the cutting edge, utilizing Microsoft Fabric to build robust, scalable applications that set new standards in performance and usability
  • Advanced security solutions: Our work with tools like Azure Sentinel places us at the vanguard of cybersecurity, safeguarding our clients' digital assets against evolving threats

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a candidate who can manage high-priority service requests and incident management tickets with professionalism and a friendly demeanour. The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of diagnosing faults promptly, and work collaboratively with other resolver teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

The nature of our work demands a high level of attention to detail, self-motivation, and a keen interest in the subject matter. The role involves substantial on-the-job learning to stay current with industry developments and to innovate new solutions.

Desirable skills:

  • General IT and remote support services
  • Practical knowledge of Public Cloud and Microsoft solutions
  • Proficiency in supporting Office products, including Microsoft 365
  • An understanding of modern cybersecurity practices and threat management
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Some onsite work may be required.

Entry requirements:

  • an A-Level in ICT
  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
  • OR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
