About the role:

We're looking for an Software Developer Apprentice to join our growing development team. You'll work with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript to support both our internal systems and customer-facing website. As our business continues to expand, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of new projects and develop your skills as a developer.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
  • Supporting internal systems and our customer-facing website
  • Collaborating with our experienced development team
  • Taking on increasing responsibility as you grow in the role

What we're looking for:

  • A passion for coding and eagerness to learn
  • Interest in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript development
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Entry requirements:

  • 7 GCSEs total
  • English GCSE grade D or above
  • Other 6 GCSEs, including Maths, to be C or above
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours: 40 hours per week
