This senior position is a key role in our Finance Team but also the wider business. As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, balance sheet reconciliations, and look to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as contributing to ad-hoc projects.

As Finance Manager at our North London Wembley office, you will:

  • Lead the UK month-end process preparing flash results and monthly management accounts in-line with the reporting timetable
  • Review monthly results with the UK Managing Director to understand variances against budget and PY. Take ownership of reporting through to board pack preparation
  • Work in conjunction with the FP&A Manager to provide business partnering for the UK division
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with the Group consolidation for the monthly management accounts
  • Take ownership of the audit process through to sign-off of the statutory accounts
  • Line management for the UK management accounting team
  • Drive a programme of process improvement working closely with other Regional Finance Managers
  • Prepare monthly rebate calculations ensuring compliance with the company’s rebate agreements
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and ensure all UK tax and reporting obligations are completed on-time

The ideal Finance Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Accountant Qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Several years post-qualification experience in industry (not purely practice) working in a group environment
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proven line management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and skilled communicator of financial numbers to a non-finance audience
  • Highly IT literate, with an ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong Excel skills
