Co-Founder & Chief Financial/Legal Officer (CFO/COO)

This is a Founding Partner role for a Co-Founder & Chief Financial/Legal Officer (CFO/COO) located in Greater London. This is a high-impact, Equity-Based position designed for a strategic visionary who believes in building long-term value.

The successful candidate will lead the financial architecture and legal governance of QENEX across multiple international jurisdictions. Your primary focus will be the valuation of intangible assets (IP, software, and digital domains) and building robust pre-revenue financial models. You will oversee legal contracts, manage cross-border compliance, and ensure that the company’s structural foundation is ready for significant investment milestones. As a Co-Founder, you will represent the organization to stakeholders and play a critical role in driving strategic partnerships.

• Intangible Asset Valuation: Lead the professional valuation of our IP portfolio and digital assets to reflect the true value of our technology.
• Pre-revenue Modeling: Develop and manage financial strategies and projections for our pre-revenue phase, ensuring "Investor Readiness."
• Global Governance: Structure and manage legal entities in various jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with international corporate and tax laws.
• Legal & Compliance: Oversee complex contracts, intellectual property protection, and regulatory frameworks specific to tech and AI.
• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate directly with the founder to shape the company’s roadmap, leverage insights for business development, and lead fundraising efforts.

• Strategic Valuation Expertise: Proven experience in valuing intangible assets and navigating the financial nuances of early-stage tech startups.
• Legal & Financial Hybrid: Strong background in both Corporate Law and International Finance/Accounting.
• Global Compliance Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage legal structures and compliance across multiple countries.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Previous experience as a founder or in a senior "Scale-up" role is highly desirable. You must be comfortable working for Equity in exchange for a significant founding stake.
• Analytical & Research Skills: Exceptional ability to assess complex data, inform high-stakes decisions, and develop strategic plans.
• Exceptional Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to articulate financial and legal complexities to investors and partners.
• Education: MBA, JD (Law), CPA, or equivalent advanced degree/experience in relevant fields.

• This is a Co-Founder position. Compensation is currently Equity-Based (Founding Partner Stake) until the first round of funding or specific revenue milestones are achieved. This is an opportunity for a dedicated partner to share in the long-term success of QENEX LTD.
