Junior Application Support Analyst
Main Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve incident tickets assigned by the support desk to the Software support team
Provide regular updates to users and end-to-end ownership of assigned incidents through to closure
Provide support for major incidents providing root cause analysis
Contribute to system improvements by reviewing current practices and helping to suggest modifications
Help with the testing and documentation of new software and processes
Assist in recommending controls by identifying issues and helping to write basic improved procedures
Maintain and update system configuration documentation as directed
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong documentation skills
Ability to work with all areas of the business and communicate at all levels
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Desirable Experience:
Some formal IT Service Desk knowledge and skills
Ideally will have worked in a retail environment
Ideally have experience of supporting one of following areas: EPOS, Customer Order Management, Warehousing, financial and ERP
