The Firm

A leading UK-based private markets investment platform with a strong international presence is seeking to build out its applied AI capabilities. The firm manages significant institutional capital and is investing in technology to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the business.

The Role

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of AI, automation, and business processes. You will work closely with non-technical teams to identify high-impact use cases and implement practical AI-driven solutions using existing enterprise tools and platforms.

The focus is on taking early-stage ideas and prototypes and turning them into scalable, production-ready workflows that deliver measurable efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities
  • Translate business requirements into practical solutions using LLMs and workflow tools
  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflows, automations, and internal tools
  • Support the rollout and adoption of AI tools across the organisation
  • Build lightweight integrations and solutions using scripting where required
  • Contribute to the development of best practices around AI usage and governance

Technology Environment

  • Enterprise LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude or similar)
  • Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform)
  • Data platforms such as Snowflake
  • API integrations and lightweight scripting (e.g. Python)

Candidate Profile

  • 1–4 years’ experience in a hands-on, implementation-focused role (e.g. consulting, technology, or transformation)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering AI, automation, or workflow solutions in a business environment
  • Strong ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompting, and practical AI use cases
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Copilot, Power Platform) and/or modern data platforms preferred
  • Background in financial services or similarly complex environments is beneficial but not essential
