Role Title: Sage Intact Developer
Role Location: London, UK
Role Type: Contract (inside ir35)
Job Description:-
Key Responsibilities-
- System Design & Configuration: Configure the core Sage Intacct finance engine, including the Chart of Accounts, General Ledger structure, Journals, and dimension tagging to meet business requirements.
- Workflow Automation: Develop and implement custom workflows, approval processes, and automated journal entries to streamline month-end closures.
- Customization & Development: Build custom reports, dashboards, and tailored solutions to enhance user experience and data visualization.
- API Integrations: Utilize Sage Intacct’s XML API to develop and maintain integrations between Sage Intacct and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., Salesforce, CRM, Banks).
- Data Migration & Testing: Lead data migration, reconciliation, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure data integrity during implementation.
- Support & Training: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for existing clients, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and train end-users.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and API documentation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Sage Intacct architecture, XML APIs, web services, and optionally .NET/C# for complex customizations.
- Accounting Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and multi-entity consolidation.
- Project Experience: Proven track record of full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations or significant enhancements.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve data, process, and application issues.
- Communication: Ability to bridge technical, functional, and finance stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of SQL Server for data analysis.
- Experience with AI-driven features like GL Outlier Detection.
- Accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA).
