This is a fantastic opportunity for a Core Java J2SE expert to join a growing firmThis is a broad role for a Java developer encompassing a complex front end trading application, performance improvement, market connectors, and analysis tools. You will be involved with Automated Trading and Risk systems, with a focus on low latency and high throughput models. Systems are concurrent, real time and require excellent multithreading and heavy messaging knowledge. You will work with the latest technology and will interact with traders and developers on a daily basis.You do NOT need financial experience to apply in fact I would encourage those from the games industry for example to apply.Core Java Developers MUST have:Solid Degree from a known institution4 years commercial java J2SE experienceCore java, good knowledge of Server Side J2SE components Strong object-orientated application design and architecture skillsMultithreading & ConcurrencyMessaging experience (TCP, Corba, Tibco, JMS or similar)Performance & TuningBeneficial:Commercial FIX Protocol experienceExperience with various Java APIs (e.g. JMX, JDBC, JMS)Experience of low latency/high throughput systems is a plusThis is a very specific role and candidates will be rewarded significantly if they can demonstrate the above skill set.
