We are looking for 2026 graduates of juniors with sub-2 years of experience and the ability to deal with quick, difficult maths problems. You will interface with various groups within the business to ensure that all trades are reflected accurately in all systems. Specifically, the Trading Desk Engineer Operations Engineer will be involved with research, rapid development execution of trade orders, automation of processes, and personal projects.
This position sits directly in a trading team and is a highly sought-after role. The role requires close collaboration with the traders, researchers and technical parts of the business to best align technical solutions with the schedules and analytic needs of various strategies.
This is a role for someone with a strong level of applied mathematics or engineering with an interest in solving problems and working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Trade Desk Operations Engineer MUST have:
- STEM degree from a top ranked University with exceptional grades
- A at A-level Maths or equivalent
- Excellent problem solver
- Strong attention to detail
- Logical thought processes
- An interest in coding with some fundamental skills in one language (VBA, Ruby, Go, Lua, Scala, Python or C++ or OO Language)
- An appetite for delivering solutions to complex problem
