Junior C# App Developer – FintechTo 60,000Quant is urgently looking for a Junior C# Software Engineer to join our high profile client.Current challenges greenfield trading platform development and Integration to other platforms Our client is a well known Prop Trading Business.The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. This is a role for techies, those who are motivated by the sharp end of technology and the possibility of making serious money doing something you are passionate about.Creating .NET applications for all areas of the business, notably Front Office and Risk.Liaising with Traders, Quants and DB developers making improvements to existing applications.Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs perwritten and verbal specifications.Dealing with ad-hoc requests and fixing bugs encountered by users.You will be developing systems which will be used by Risk, Mid-Office and Trading departments in a fast moving trading environment. The systems you build will require your skills in multithreading, concurrency, performance profiling and optimization. We are looking for potential not experience.You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, where you will get a lot of freedom to decide on code base, technology and architecture. The more knowledge you gain about the business, the more opportunity you get to partner with the business. With direct access to end users, you will see your results in production and get immediate feedback. You will be part of an agile team and you will get a chance to work with the latest technologies on the latest applications and learn from highly educated and experienced colleagues.C# Developers MUST have:DegreeC#.Net ideally with Desktop or Enterprise App type ExposureHopefully solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills.An understanding of WPF or at least and interest in where it adds valueSolid understanding in at least one version control systemThe successful individual will join a small team working directly with the Head of development.
