Project Manager FintechQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Project Manager to join our high profile Fintech client in central London.My client are an exciting Fintech start up (big enough to be an SME though) and are growing at a rapid pace looking to double their work force to 300 people this year alone. They have a revolutionary product that enables major financial institutions to trade across the fixed income market. They act as if they were a startup.I am looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong external customer facing skills and an interest in actually delivering even if this involves getting your hands dirty. This does not suit a huge enterprise level PM. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders and take primary accountability for project delivery success. You will take direct responsibility for project planning, controlling progress, identifying and resolving risks and issues, managing budget/scope/schedule, and ensuring compliance with all related governance and reporting processes. You will work on a number of concurrent internal and client facing financial technology projects.This is truly a game changing product that all sell-side businesses can capitalise on.Day to Day the Project Manager will:Sales SupportConsistently delivering projects to agreed success criteria, managing change effectivelyStrategic client projects (integration of new products and services) and the of high profile internal projectsActing as the focal point for the Agile delivery team within the London office (supporting client across Europe)Providing leadership across multiple projectsIdentify, define, and manage all aspects of projects and projects scope including, but not limited to, the overall program project plan, execution, resource management, issue tracking, quality, change management, risk management, communications and budgetOversee teams working on client engagements, manage internal resourcesPossess an understanding of company offerings, technical preferences, and technical directionAs a Project Manager you must have:Solid experience as a Project Manager, with end-to-end responsibility for deliveryExperience managing a variety of technology projects in the Finance sector Background in small projects usually around 1 millionExperience in a small vendorProven track record of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactionsExperience managing a variety of project management methods, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, hybrid.Prince 2 but don’t quote the bookThorough understanding of the project management process throughout the lifecycle, and the ability to identify issues and take corrective actionExperience working with formal project methodologies (e.g. APM PRINCE 2, PMI/BOK) and associatedDegree, preferably in a Technical / or Business related areaI am looking for full blown project managers who have experience in a small Vendor and who want to take on real responsibility.The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
