Solutions Consultant (Implementation) – Finance/Bankingup to 55KQuant Capital is urgently looking for a technical Implementation / Solutions Consultant to join our high profile client.Our client is one of the biggest global financial technology vendor well known in the core banking space.The primary purpose of the Implementation Consultant is to support clients in their implementation of financial solutions, from the sales process through to the go live of the system. The Consultant will provide clients with objective strategic advisory services to improve their organisation’s performance and long-term competitiveness by working with them to optimise the implementation of our software, and their own business processes.You will be responsible for running your own projects as well as working closely with presales.The Solutions Consultant will be involved in requirements gathering and understanding the client’s processes, and helping to define their requirements and the solution proposition. The main areas you’ll then work with are:Recommend solutions within own disciplineDefine business requirements and associated technical solutionsWork with development teams to design software solutions and workarounds according to process requirementsPrepare elements of business case definitionImplement process change definitionWork with the team on the product configurationSpecify requirements for data migrationThe role requires the solutions consultant to work independently, and is collaborative in nature. The candidate should be adept at problem solving through innovation, making confident decisions under pressure with aggressive timeframes and have a proven track record on successfully overseeing a number of projects of differing scales.Solutions / Implementation Consultants must have:4 years commercial experience of Implementation or ConsultancyExperience Client facingDegree educated or of degree calibreUnderstanding of financial servicesPrevious experience of supporting customers in software implementations and upgradesAbility to work with customers to understand and document the business requirements to implement beneficial process changeExperience of dealing with a variety of customer stakeholders when gathering and consolidating requirementsPrevious experience of product configuration as part of a teamAn analytical approach to fault investigation and resolutionPrevious experience of supporting data migrationAn appreciation / understanding of the software development lifecycleFlexibility in working hours and location due to the nature of the roleAbility to learn and keep up to date with compliance and changes to the Financial Services Industry.Ideally a Background in financial technology or front office technologyExperience of business analysis or project management (or the desire to gain this)This role suits someone from a software consulting or implementation background that is looking to take on serious responsibility. We are looking for consultants who want to take ownership of products and take considerable responsibility and the bonus that goes with that.My client is based near Luton but would also be happy to accommodate people in their office in Sheffield.
