VP of Finance & Operations

We’re working with a growing, international technology business at a pivotal stage of its scale-up journey. With a high-performing team of around 45 people and ambitious growth plans, the company is now seeking a VP of Finance & Operations to lead financial strategy, governance, and operational performance.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring growth is profitable, well-governed, and operationally efficient. Finance and Revenue Operations will sit within your remit, making this a highly influential position at the heart of the business.

What you’ll be doing

Financial leadership & governance

  • Owning the annual operating budget and holding the business accountable to performance
  • Leading FP&A, management accounting, and monthly reporting
  • Supporting banking and funding relationships, including compliance reporting
  • Driving finance transformation through systems, automation, and modern infrastructure

Commercial & revenue operations

  • Partnering with sales leadership on incentive and commission design
  • Ensuring commercial activity aligns with margin and growth targets
  • Improving revenue operations efficiency, invoicing speed, and sales processes
  • Reviewing pricing models and contract frameworks

Legal, risk & corporate governance

  • Managing external legal partners
  • Supporting board-level reporting and executive decision-making
  • Overseeing corporate compliance, governance, and cap table processes

Operations & infrastructure

  • Overseeing workplace operations and facilities
  • Managing key suppliers and negotiating enterprise contracts
  • Optimising operational costs across the business

Leadership

  • Leading and developing a small finance and operations team
  • Acting as a close partner to the Managing Director across strategic and operational priorities

What we’re looking for

  • Significant experience in senior finance and operations leadership
  • A relevant finance qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong commercial and financial judgement
  • Comfortable holding the business accountable to performance
  • Experience in scaling or high-growth environments
  • Ability to operate across strategic, operational, and hands-on priorities
  • Highly organised, process-driven, and execution-focused
  • A collaborative, team-first leadership style
