Software Developer

Our Reading based client is seeking a Software Developer to join their experienced and established team on a permanent basis. This role is remote however will require travel to their Reading based site on occasion. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director of the business and the wider technical team.

Their software applications are built using a mix of .Net technologies and mobile technologies. As a Developer you will focus on the creation, implementation, testing and maintenance aspects of the development life cycle. Their dedicated in-house research & development team are constantly striving to stay ahead of the times and setting global standards in the process.

Skills and Experience:

• Mid-Level: 3-6 years of experience in software development with the Microsoft stack

• Stack: C#, .Net Core, ASP.net

• Microsoft SQL, Entity Framework

• JavaScript, CSS, JSON, XML, etc

• API Design & Best Practice (REST, SOAP)

• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented software design

• Agile / SCRUM

• Azure DevOps Server

• Follow best practices to build maintainable, scalable web applications

• A passion for technology and programming

• Self-learner and willing to learn new skills and tools on the job as needed

• Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions to challenges

• Small company can-do mentality

• Ability to work calmly under pressure
