Computer Science / ICT Teacher - Bedford

Long-Term Cover | Immediate Start | Until End of July

A secondary school in Bedford is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Computer Science / ICT Teacher for a long-term cover position, starting immediately and running through to the end of July.

The school benefits from a supportive, hands-on Senior Leadership Team and a collaborative staff culture where teachers are well supported both professionally and personally.

• Delivering Computer Science and/or ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Preparing engaging, practical and theory-based lessons

• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential

• Marking, assessment and tracking of progress in line with department expectations

• Upholding high standards of behaviour and classroom management

• A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification

• Recent UK teaching experience within secondary education

• Experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and confidence with the current curriculum

• A proactive, adaptable and professional approach

• Right to Work in the UK

• UK teaching experience
