We are currently seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Lead to join a large-scale enterprise transformation programme within a highly regulated Financial Services environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping enterprise-wide data governance, compliance, and information management strategy using Microsoft Purview.

The Role

As the Purview Lead, you will own and communicate the enterprise product vision for Microsoft Purview, ensuring alignment with governance, regulatory, risk, and operational objectives.

You will work closely with business, legal, security, risk, and technology teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement of Purview capabilities across a complex hybrid and multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and communicate the enterprise product vision for Microsoft Purview
  • Define and manage the Purview product roadmap and backlog
  • Translate governance and regulatory requirements into actionable platform capabilities
  • Drive enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft Purview
  • Support data classification, lineage, cataloguing, retention, and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with business, security, legal, and technology stakeholders
  • Balance operational, regulatory, and business priorities effectively
  • Oversee BAU transition, platform optimisation, and continuous improvement
  • Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and prioritisation decisions
  • Operate effectively within a federated organisational model

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Purview v2)
  • Experience working within complex regulated enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Data Governance
  • Data Classification & Sensitivity Labelling
  • Data Lineage & Cataloguing
  • Retention & Compliance Controls
  • Hybrid / Multi-Cloud Data Estates
  • Proven Agile Product Ownership experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence

Desirable Experience

  • Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance sector experience
  • Experience balancing central governance with federated business structures
  • Knowledge of enterprise compliance and regulatory frameworks

Contract Details

  • 12-month contract
  • Hybrid working – 3 days onsite in Redhill
  • Immediate interview availability
