Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join their dedicated team.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing and designing electronic circuits for various applications
  • Being hands on with the design, build and test of circuits
  • Building prototypes and conducting testing to validate designs
  • Working closely with software engineers and other team members to ensure hardware-software integration
  • Working to deadlines and schedules

Experience, qualifications, and requirements:

  • Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics
  • Experience with analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
  • Experience with multilayer PCB Design (DipTrace, Altium, OrCAD) would be desirable
  • Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable
  • Experience and competence with writing firmware desirable
  • Low-power design experience advantageous
  • RF design experience advantageous
  • Self-driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
