Generative AI Specialist (Writing & Editing) - Remote

Role Overview:

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role requires a unique blend of creative writing talent and editorial precision to enhance generative AI systems. You will focus on high-level content generation, copy editing, and style adaptation, ensuring that AI-generated text meets professional publishing standards and specific stylistic guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and polish high-quality text for a variety of use cases, from creative fiction to professional business communication.
• Edit AI-generated drafts to correct grammatical errors, improve flow, and adjust tone according to strict style guides.
• Annotate text data to highlight stylistic nuances, such as voice, register, and sentiment, to improve model training.
• Collaborate on creating "gold standard" writing benchmarks that serve as the ideal output for the AI to mimic.
• Evaluate the model's ability to handle different genres and writing styles, providing detailed feedback on linguistic quality.

Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience in writing, copy editing, journalism, or content creation (portfolio or writing samples may be required).
• Exceptional command of English grammar, syntax, and style, with the ability to adapt voice for different audiences.
• Familiarity with various style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago) and an ability to apply custom editorial guidelines strictly.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot subtle errors in logic, tone, and flow.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
• Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
