Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $80,000 – $130,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Shopify Developer to build, customise, and optimise Shopify storefronts and apps. The role combines theme craft with app development — creating commerce experiences that convert and scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customise Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS

- Build custom Shopify apps using the Shopify API and modern frameworks

- Integrate third-party services (payment, fulfillment, marketing tools)

- Optimise storefront performance, conversion, and Core Web Vitals

- Implement and maintain custom checkout extensions and Shopify Functions

- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and design teams

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years building production Shopify storefronts or apps

- Strong knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

- Experience with Shopify CLI, Hydrogen, or Online Store 2.0

- Familiarity with Shopify APIs (GraphQL Admin, Storefront, Functions)

- Working knowledge of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimisation

- Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and modern frontend tooling
