Writer - Freelance (Remote)

Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role is designed for self-motivated freelance writers who thrive on variety. You will produce, review, and refine a wide array of written content—from creative fiction to technical summaries—to help train AI models to write more like humans. Your ability to adapt your voice, manage your own workload, and strictly follow guidelines is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write original, engaging content across various genres (creative, business, academic) to serve as high-quality training data.
• Edit AI-generated text to improve readability, grammar, and style, ensuring it sounds natural and human rather than robotic.
• Assess AI performance by grading responses against detailed quality rubrics for accuracy, helpfulness, and safety.
• Rewrite vague or poorly structured AI outputs into clear, concise, and professional English.
• Follow specific project briefs and style guides meticulously to ensure consistency across different writing tasks.

Qualifications:

• Professional freelance writing, blogging, or copywriting experience (a portfolio or samples are highly preferred).
• Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, and style with a sharp eye for errors.
• Ability to adapt writing tone and voice for different audiences (e.g., switching between formal business tone and casual dialogue).
• Strong time management skills and the discipline to meet deadlines in a self-directed environment.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
• Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
