Senior SEO Content Executive

Quirky Digital is an ambitious SEO company based in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle area. We are looking for an experienced Senior SEO Content Executive with strong SEO knowledge to join our team.

We work with a variety of businesses, from innovative start-ups to market-leading international brands.

As a Senior SEO Content Executive, you will be responsible for producing written content for clients in a range of industries, from healthcare and law to e-commerce.

This is a full-time, hybrid role. We are a sociable team, so we are looking for someone who can commute to Liverpool City Centre.

Responsibilities

• Research and write content to meet deadlines
• Upload content to content management systems and websites
• Create content strategies and plans tailored to client goals
• Produce detailed content briefs for clients to follow
• Communicate with clients via email and calls to keep them updated on content progress
• Stay up to date with Google updates and ranking factors
• Analyse SEO performance and suggest improvements to existing content
• Support with providing training to other members of the content team

Skills required

• Strong knowledge of SEO principles, best practices and trends
• Ability to conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align content with wider marketing goals
• Excellent grammar, spelling and writing skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - able to communicate complex issues to clients with a range of stakeholders
• Advanced problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
• Understanding of on-page and off-page SEO factors
• Experience in creating optimised content across various formats (blogs, guides, categories and location pages)
• Ability to adapt tone of voice and style for different industries and audiences
• Knowledge of technical SEO considerations for content production
• Initiative and willingness to take ownership of projects
• Pro-activity in identifying efficiencies and proposing improvements to benefit the content team and wider agency
• Strong work ethic and passion for writing and digital marketing

Up to £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
