Cloud Engineer

Our client is a global IT solutions provider delivering innovative software and cloud services to startups and enterprises worldwide. With offices in London, Dubai, and Delhi, they are seeking an AWS Cloud Developer to join their team and help architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will own AWS infrastructure, build production-ready systems, implement best practices, and collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex cloud challenges. You will have the opportunity to shape cloud architectures, optimize performance, and drive innovation across client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS-based solutions across compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Build serverless applications using Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments for performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to documentation and cloud best practices.

Must-Have Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Expertise with EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and networking/security fundamentals.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK).
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).

Nice-to-Have

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Step Functions, EventBridge, or analytics services.
• Exposure to AWS AI/ML services such as SageMaker, Comprehend, or Rekognition.
• Knowledge of multi-account AWS setups or compliance frameworks.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and cloud cost optimization.
